According to the Bible as the infallible Word of God, there is only one way to salvation and to the eternal Kingdom of God.
“And there is salvation in no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him” (John 3:36)
Surely, we all agree that every person is destined to die sometime and whether one believes it or not, there is a life hereafter that will never end. Never is a long time because it is practically without end.
Where are you going to spend eternity?
Not sure? Do not know exactly? Hope for the best?
If that is your reply, then you are not saved.
When one dies, to the life hereafter there are two entrances: The one to the eternal glory of God the Holy Trinity and the other to the eternal pool of fire with no second chance. All that will make the difference, is whether you have personally in this life accepted the price that Jesus Christ paid for every person, also you.
God loves every person and desires that he/she must reconcile with Him. The problem is, however, that all have sinned and deserve eternal punishment.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
However God the Father has made a plan and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, perfect and without sin, to die in our place on the cross at Calvary – and after three days raised Him from the dead and anointed Him to reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12)
“For what I received I pass on to you as of the first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:34)
Thus Jesus has a free ticket for every one, but the critical point is that a person must confess his / her sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
v
“For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, will be saved.’” (Romans 10:13)
Once you have prayed this prayer, you will become reborn and be saved forever. God through His Holy Spirit will seal and confirm this and that can never be changed by anyone ever.
“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand.” (John 10:28)
Are you ready to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and to receive the eternal, irreversible guarantee of God the Holy Trinity?
If so, then pray this simple prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner and without You I am lost. However I confess of my sin and I beg You to forgive me. I accept the price that You paid for me on the cross and that You were raised from the dead for my salvation. Thank You that You have forgiven me and have made me Your child. I promise to follow You from this day forever. Amen.
If you have done this and believe it, then you are saved for time and eternity.
Proceed to do four things:
- Read your Bible regularly and attentively
- Pray in faith and perseverance
- Still today tell at least two other persons of your salvation in Jesus
- Join a Christian church which is based on the Bible and travel the road with fellow reborn Christians.
God bless you.
